Khalsa Panth Academy was blessed to host a beautiful Vaisakhi Samagam 2026 on Saturday, 18th April, bringing together students, parents, volunteers and sangat to celebrate one of the most important occasions in the Sikh calendar.

Vaisakhi is a day of great pride and reflection for Sikhs across the world. It reminds us of the creation of the Khalsa Panth by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the values of courage, equality, seva, discipline and devotion. At Khalsa Panth Academy, this special occasion was celebrated with love, togetherness and a strong focus on passing Sikh values to the next generation.
The Samagam included Kirtan, inspiring talks, Gatka performance and Guru Ka Langar. Our students had the opportunity to take part and showcase what they are learning at the academy, including Sikh music, discipline and confidence through Gatka. It was heartwarming to see young children connecting with Gurbani, Sikh history and the spirit of community.
A key highlight of the day was the Gatka performance, where students demonstrated the traditional Sikh martial art with focus, energy and respect. Gatka is not only a martial art, but also a way to build discipline, confidence, fitness and connection with the Sikh warrior spirit.

The Kirtan and talks reminded everyone about the importance of staying connected to Gurbani, mother tongue, Sikh traditions and our roots. The event also gave students a chance to serve, learn and take part in a positive sangat environment.
We are truly thankful to all the parents, volunteers, teachers and sangat members who supported the Vaisakhi Samagam and helped make the day successful. From preparing and serving langar to guiding students and supporting the arrangements, every seva made a meaningful difference.
Khalsa Panth Academy will continue working towards its mission of promoting Sikhi, Sikh music, Gatka, Punjabi language, Gurbani and traditional values for future generations.
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.
